GJETOST

A brown coloured whey cheese made from a mixture of cow’s and goat’s milk.  Sweet caramel flavour which should be eaten in very thin slivers.  Original traditional Norwegian cheese.    

ISLE OF WIGHT SOFT

This cheese won a silver medal in the Soft White cheese category at the 2009 British Cheese Awards.  A soft, white, surface mould ripened, pasteurised cheese. When young this cheese has a firm texture but softens considerably as it ripens.

Hand-made by Colston Bassett, one of the last independent Stilton makers in the country - truly the very best available.  Weighs approximately 2.3kgs.

ISLE OF WIGHT BLUE

This cheese won Best English at the 2007 World Cheese Awards and other prestigious awards in 2008 and 2009.  It is a naturally rinded soft blue cheese, made with pasteurised Guernsey cows' milk from a local herd.  

Small - 250gms in a wooden box.
The traditional cow’s milk Burgundy cheese, washed and matured with Marc de Bourgogne. An unashamedly strong cheese which should be eaten ripe and runny.  Delicious with cloves of garlic pushed through the soft rind and placed in a medium oven for 15 minutes.

MOZZARELLA DI BUFALA

Authentic Italian mozzarella.  References to buffalo milk cheese appeared in the 12th century. Since then mozzarella became widespread throughout South Italy.  Rich in calcium, protein and live lactic ferments, and with a high vitamin and mineral salt content, it is nutritious and highly digestive..  Wonderful drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with freshly ground pepper.

BRIE ROUZAIRE AUX TRUFFLES

When this artisan cheese is very young it is cut horizontally and a layer of truffle is added. The top is put back on and the cheese and it is left to mature.
Flavours are rich and decadent with the unmistakable flavour of truffle influencing the creamy soft and sumptuous character of this wonderful Brie.
